Apparently, the US has become a living Hell

Lurker from Germany over here. Seriously, having a look at your posts and realized they're actually true or at least plausible I think, even as a PhD to be in chemistry, I would rather live on minimum wage in Europe than moving to the US. A society that has become largely social darwinist and where a growing number of people are beginning to face absolute destitution (actual hunger, wtf) while others are increasingly at risk of impoverishment (regardless of their education)? And in Germany (and probably the rest of Europe) we're constantly being told about the land of the free. Personal freedom my ass. Maybe the freedom to die in agony. No kidding, but even if the next election ends without a close call resulting in conflict I firmly believe that this nation has about 10 years left before another civil war ensues. Good luck.
