Hey there. Kinda new kinda not but just needed a place to vent this out.
So, my colleague said that my new (really nice auburn) wig is not appropriate for the workplace and is distracting to him. I (26F) even asked HR if it were to be ok to wear my wigs in solidarity to my grandmother who has cancer. She has to wear wigs, she hates it, so I wanted to rock some out with her. Sometimes I glue them down which makes it difficult or just a pain in the ass to remove before work. So that's how I got here..
HR has nothing to say and my manager says to just ignore this person. I'm afraid of him doing something to get in me in trouble now because it's all been awkward at work. He makes incredibly condensing remarks now.. HR says there isn't anything that can be done.
I'm just at a loss with work…
