They said that while my back ground check comes in they’d job train me. Said they’d call me. That was two weeks ago, no word. No text. No email. No call.
At this point I’m just embarrassed to call.
How long do back ground checks take?
What could be the hold up?
Do employers ever just ghost applicants?
I just want to work man. They said they needed people, I applied. Silence.
Edit. It’s an apartment building maintenance job. I know for a fact people get hired quick. Within the week. I’m just down that I get no word. I want to work damn it
