Are companies less likely to hire you if you skip jobs every 6 months?

My last 2 jobs only lasted 6 months each. I changed from the first because it was to far from where I live and the second because i received a better offer in my current company, that wasn't an smart decision. Now I have to work on the weekends because the company needs it and not been paid for it. Lots of coworkers have being fired or quit in the last few months. I want to search for another job but dont know if my current situation is the best, maybe i should wait for the year to be over. What do you think? Will having this kind of changes hurt me in the long run as companies will see it as something bad?
