Are employers getting worse? Also, GlassDoor

I’ve been self-employed for more than a decade and I am considering going back into the regular paycheck with benefits job force. Admittedly, my career enables me to work remotely and that’s all I will consider, but this subreddit makes me wonder if employers are turning the screws now out of some sort of panic over the “Great Resignation,” or are bad employers only now being exposed. Also, if you’re not familiar with GlassDoor, which is like a Yelp for employees to anonymously review employers, you might want to check it out. I think employers might begin to change their behaviors if they’re publicly called out. Images of ridiculous signs and heartbreaking stories is eye opening for readers like me, but most are people posting don’t name the company. I absolutely see why, but maybe GlassDoor is a good alternative.
