Are walk outs protected?

I work at a large multi national chain and one of our main programs where we perform 70-80% of our job isn’t working correctly and some days not at all and this has been going on for about a month now. We’ve tried working though our appropriate channels like my store manager then our IT department and our district manager but our concerns are not being recognized. The latency in the program is now resulting in sales being down since now it takes 3-4 times longer for every customer interaction resulting in less commission. My question is if I get my store and maybe 10 other stores to do a single day walkout to hang up our keys and close the store would this action be protected or could they fire me. My hope would be that someone starts listening once they see a possible $70k dollar day for our…
