The other day I went to a restaurant and noticed there was only 1 waiter. The place was also empty, meaning I was the only customer.
After getting me my food (which was mid at best, but that's besides the point), I ask him who the owner is and he smiles and says 'me'. I was surprised and asked him where are the other waiters and he said 'no one wants to work anymore'.. I had to stop myself from bursting into laughter on his shitty floor. I quickly ask for a bill and left no tip.
He gets mad and I told him tips are meant to supplement the workers not the owners and he cursed me out as I left thru the door.
Do I do the right thing?
