I’ve been at this job for 6 months my review is coming up. I’m not really shopping around but something did come up where there might the possibility of a new gig. Do I ask for a raise now or wait until I get an idea of the salary at the new place? Nothing is set in stone but there is a possibility. Things to note: I received below what I asked when I was hired. My employer considers me an asset but at the same time I should be getting more based on experience. 🤷️ Edited – clarification.
