Hi guys!
Okay, here's the short version: I got hired a bit over a year ago. I came from a different field of work, but got hired anyway. I received less than before, but I was desperate as unemployment was running out.
Fast forward: I hate the job I'm doing, all in all. Thankfully, I've learned to cope a little. I am… not good at nor do I have much clue of what I'm doing, and I dislike thr field, and my boss. Yet, I want/need to ask for more money. I suffer from anxiety, hate conflict and suck at standing up for myself, easily being intimidated. My boss is… not an easy person, to put it mildly. I know if I ask for more money (which would in regards to the position and the work I'm doing appropriate, if one leaves out the non-existant success rate), there will be arguments given that our customer's sales have gone down, that I haven't brought any new customers to the company, etc. etc.
Do you have any suggestions or tips for the talk ahead? I'd be very, very grateful!
