It happens.
I’m at my wits end. I was at a frozen yogurt shop and the guy ahead of me rudely asks the barely teenage girl if the vanilla is ice cream or frozen yogurt. She didn’t really understand the question because everything is froyo it’s a froyo shop. He gets louder saying “is it ice cream or frozen yogurt? It says ice cream!!!” She says “I think it’s frozen yogurt that’s what we sell” Then the old head says “well why does it say ice cream you should know this you work here! I the said does she look like she’s been here for more than a few days? It’s always new people in here every week. Do you think she makes the signs here? Do you think they go through some rigorous training. People like you are the reason nobody wants to work retail. He was walking away at that…
This is why you’re stressed.
I feel a lot of this subreddit is focused on minimum wage/unskilled labor which is fine but I’m curious if there is a similar subreddit for high income people who also dislike working and feel underpaid for their work
How many jobs have you been fired from?
Fired from my first, and 4 professional jobs. What’s your worst?
I just had a thought (and I don't know if this has been asked before). Target seems to always be very warm even if they have the Air-conditioning on. They apparently save on power usage, especially in the summer, but in reality they are sweating out the workers. I think for the most part the employees are overworked at Target anyway (even outside of holiday times).
