You have to be pretty lucky or connected to get people to ignore your anti-social behavior. Meanwhile, you have talented people with autism or social skills-affecting disabilities who try to be nice not even being considered for jobs. A jerk's “talent” can't be the only thing keeping them employed.

Pay me what you owe me!
So I discovered that my job has not been paying me $0.60/hr on top of my hourly rate since our new contract in 2020. I bring awareness to HR and they trying to tell me it’s my fault, how? Y’all screwed up not me. Now I’m having to jump they hoops to get my retro pay for what they owe me! Oh, yes! I’m gonna get my money!
A member of staff today got a phone call from their second job informing them that a few members of staff had tested positive and they should take a test too. Our workplace has LFT’s onsite so naturally my coworker takes a test and it comes back positive. They inform the manager of this and go home. Cue the manager then complaining saying no one should be allowed to test at work, they should’ve finished their shift so that we wouldn’t be left short staffed and tested at home. This is actually the mentality of these people. Madness.
I just now realized this
How fucking stupid is the concept of trickle down economics. I already knew it never worked but after thinking for a minute i realized how much of a lie and a scam it truly is. Let me explain. Whitch one of these sound more logical to you: Problem is to get money in the hands of the lower and the middle class / money in circulation making the economy run. “Solution” trickle down: For middle and the lower class to get money they dont give the money to them but to the rich who need money the least. In theory the rich are suposed to use the money to invest in their buisnesses creating jobs but the problem is everyone knows this is bullshit because the number one trait you need to have to be rich in the first place is huge amounts of greed. CEO:s have made more and…
I work at a place that has a point based call out system. If you call out for being sick you get one point with a maximum of 5 points. This week we've been getting several severe weather warnings and so I confirmed with management that we wouldn't get pointed if we called out/left early due to weather. I even have text confirmation that that is indeed the case. Well, yesterday we had a decent snow fall for the area and roads/cars were frozen and such. So, naturally, they had a lot of call outs (I wasn't scheduled). Today I get to work and hear that they're pointing everyone who called in for weather after noon even though they explicitly said they wouldn't. Is this legal? Or allowable? Cause it doesn't feel like it.
In 24 hours i spotted at least 18 instances of “advice” that involved lawsuits and lawyers and the arrogant and very incorrect “this case is cut and dry herp derp free money”. If youre not a lawyer, stop giving false legal advice. You are harming the people who are posting here by arrogantly and confidently and incorrectly giving them hope that they can win some money when 99% of the time they cannot and youre just citing something yoi thought you heard on tv or read somewhere. Workmans comp, settlements, and unemployment are not lottery tickets waiting to be won. You're not helping with your very uneducated responses and you're trivializing the fact that worker's rights are trampled every day.
