Documentary Recommendation
John Webster made a documentary on bullshit jobs and how more and more people are not emotionally involved with their work anymore. Original title is „The Happy Worker“. I recommend watching it but could only find a German dubbed version on the internet.

The minimum wage is lower or equivelant in (if i remember correctly) 34 states for ADULTS than the minimum wage in the Netherlands for 16 year olds which is almost 5 dollars an hour which most comanies here giving you (as a 16 year old) like 6 euros+ (6,56 usd) some companies even give you 13 euros per hour for like cleaning AS A 16 YEAR OLD (14,20 usd). PS: minimum wage is higher if you don't get enough tips, but to be fair, I don't think (most) managers there care for that, but idk Source Dutch goverment used for minimum wage: (translation option available) https://www.rijksoverheid.nl/onderwerpen/minimumloon/bedragen-minimumloon/bedragen-minimumloon-2022 Source US minimum wage: https://zakelijk.infonu.nl/banen/149130-minimumloon-in-de-verenigde-staten.html I used the google converter
Power Tripping
Has anyone dealt with a power tripping boss recently? If so, tell me your story. I’ve been at my current workplace for going on 9 months now. Started off very chill considering I work the graveyard shift. Didn’t have anything to complain about. However, over the last couple of months upper management has been power tripping hard. Doing the most unnecessary things with no reasoning behind it. It’s just getting worse and worse. People are beginning to quit so I see it becoming a REAL issue. I’m going to start putting in applications today.
Hi folks, one of my close friend is facing workplace harassment at her current organization (Genpact). She is fighting all alone. If you are on tweeter, can you please retweet or like her tweet, mentioned below? It will be a great support. Thank you much in advance. I’m owed 3 weeks paid vacation; this is the first one I’ve taken this year. Michigan if it helps Please just give me some guidance this is crazy, there is another manager whom also hasn’t received their vacation pay either and to my knowledge it’s been almost 3 weeks at this point!
