I've been noticing personally as well as with almost all my friends that they all complain that the management has become more inhumane after covid-19. . For those employed at the same place for the last 3+ years, did you notice something unusual? Something not right? Please share.

While there are debates as to if AI will completely replace some jobs, there is no doubt it allows the workers of many professions to increase their productivity. In simple terms, AI will allow workers to create more goods in the same amount of time, or it will take less time to create the same amount of goods. As workers, we would like to harness all of that added benefit, we would then get paid the same amount to work less. Employers, however, will want all of that added benefit for themselves, they will expect us to be more productive in the same amount of time, for the same pay. Let's hold the line and maintain the benefit of AI for the employee, not the employer.
Been looking at other housing options for the past year and something that I found that really started to bother me was the prevalence of affordable communities that are 55+ only. How is it that in a world where people have to work 60-70 hour weeks across multiple jobs just to meet basic needs that retirees get their own personal communities that defy the market trends with homes for as little as $70k? If I wanted to buy a place for that (which is about the upper limit of what I can afford working 60-70 hr weeks) it would be in a crime ridden squalid neighborhood and probably infested with cockroaches. Yet they get to sit in gated golf communities with a pool and a clubhouse for that. I’m not asking for a mansion, I just want somewhere safe that isn’t a biohazard to raise my daughter.
