Recently I've gotten a fully remote job. My main reason for taking this job is being able to fuck around on discord/google/reddit while I'm working and truthfully if I get fired for it I won't be too sad since it's the only thing that makes the job worthwhile for me. I'm confident I can do my job and meet all the stats/metrics required. But I'd rather fly under the radar and I have a few questions: 1) If I remotely connect to my work laptop from a personal computer (remote access) can my employer see what I'm doing on my personal computer outside of that virtual desktop? 2) How much can an employer realistically see of what I'm doing when using their desktop? Everything? 3) If the above two are a no go, is there any way an employer might see that I'm on a separate laptop if I've got…

I worked at a supermarket and it was awful! For 7 1/2 hours of my day, I would stand outside cleaning trolleys while having to deal with angry customers due to covid restrictions. I had just turned 17 at the time I started and honestly, I didn't get paid enough for that shit! I was threatened multiple times by guys about twice my size just for doing my job. Management we're soft as fuck and so disconnected from the floor staff. They overlooked shift restrictions because of my age and I was working illegal hours for over a year. It was them who realised the mistake and they were essentially laughing over it when they told me. That said, I still didn't want to get a negative reference for my new job so I text my manager “Got to run, I just shat myself.” He said, “no worries” and I…
Feelings on YouTubers
Today I learned that some YouTubers with there own employees treat them like garbage. For example with ZHCs channel he puts those people through hell.

It's always the same stupid shit. SMH
How bad is this inflation hitting you?
Who do I discuss about pay?
I work at a grocery store and tried to talk to my department manager about unpaid hours but the issue is still unresolved. Do I reach out to hr?
Never rely on one. Always have side chicks who are dtf. There's nothing immoral about cheating on your job. Always have the leverage to walk away regardless of money and know any advancement in the corporate structure comes with implicit demands for compliance. Be replaceable because you are. ACAB. Fuck landlords. Hail Satan.
Quit after 2 years of overwork!
TLDR: wanted to share how free I feel after my last day at a job that I was at for 2 years that just kept getting worse. This was a white collar desk / computer job with a great salary when I joined. When I joined it was on a team of ~10 folks that all shared responsibilities to execute different customer projects. Over the last 2 years, 5 of them quit (citing burnout and company not staffing the team to succeed since we were basically asked to do the job of a 25 person team) 3 of them moved to other groups that were focused on “higher priority” efforts That left only 2 of us carrying the load of 10 for about the last 6 months. At one point they decided to hire a new guy – but when he joined they used it as an excuse to offload…
Actually, I am not hahahahaha.
