Last year I landed my dream job, but had to leave after a few months. The manager was an asshole, using she/her for a non binary coworker, sexually harassing customers and staff, having ME be the main trainer and do managerial duties even though I was on base $16/hr pay, run twitch streams on shift and donate $500+ to streamers while saying that he can't pay me more, and a whole litany of other terrible things. I recently looked them up, and they're still using 3 pictures of me on their Google page, two of them insinuate that I work there. I had said it was okay to use them, but that agreement should've ended with my employment. I don't want my picture up there anymore, what witty thing should I send my old asshat boss to get those taken down?

I’m a part of a sales team that hits metrics like all sales teams and last year we were told if we achieve “winners circle” we get a trip to Costa Rica. Like mid June I was miles ahead of my team so much so that I was told to get a passport. Well omicron put a stop to the trip and I was told they’d pay me out $5,000 since we can’t go. I was then called back by the VP saying there was a mistake and they are in fact giving me $10,000. I was so happy I told my mom my gf it’s now enough money to put down in a house. I haven’t had a review with my current employer in over 3 years. It comes up every year and they’re “serious” about it this time. I’m not going to hold my breath until my manage schedules it. Anyway in the event it does happen, I’m going to tell her that I’ve met my goal for 2022 already by getting BMFS tickets at Red Rocks in May. I’ll also mention I don’t have any other goals identified at this time because every job is a dead end job including hers and all the way up to the CEO. Noone is getting out of this life alive so why should I do anything above then bare minimum? I’ll continue with taking paid lunches and staying utilized, just keep approving those timesheets.

It is a blizzard out there. It's still dark, it's foggy, there's heavy snowfall with extremely strong winds, it rained last night and now it's frozen making it insanely icey. I live in the country meaning it's half an hour to work in good conditions. The government has released a “no travel advised” statement in our area. Schools are delayed or canceled. I called in to work. We are far from essential, especially for just one day. You have to be crazy to try to shop right now. My boss of course is upset over the phone. My shift was only four hours so I say I just won't come in. By the time it's light out and possibly good enough to drive (which may not even happen) I would only get there for an hour or two. Been here for 2.5 years and I have seniority as well as best sales performance in my market. The nature of the job involves a lot of driving. We will drive up to 2 hours away. I’ve seen a lot of crazy accidents and lost count of how many deer I’ve almost hit. During the heavy snow and ice we got in the Midwest last week they tried to make us work and still attempt the drive. We do not have direct management in our city we’re technically remote hires. That was the last straw for me. I stood up for myself and argued against the idea that upper management that doesn’t live in my area can decide if roads are safe to drive on.
