For context I'm transgender I asked my boss what the dress code is He said “casual and appropriate” I then asked if I could wear a dress And he said he would highly suggest and peffer I don't wear one even tho it's not against dress code we do alot of bending and stocking I then said it goes past the knees and I'm wearing leggings He said he just dosent feel comfortable with it Can I file a discrimination claim? I work for an apartment complex (part time) that gets primarily students as their residents but is open to anyone. This building is in New York. I live on premise and every other week I have to be on call to answer our emergency phone call 24/7 or anytime the office is not open. These calls are usually for lock outs and noise complaints. I get paid minimum wage for 3 hours each night only and I must stay on premises while on call. I do not get paid past the 3 hours nightly and I must pay rent. ​ Is this legal? Am I supposed to be paid for the hours the office is not open (which is 14ish hours a day) or just get paid the 3 hours nightly. If escape is not an option, if by all means the world resists by property, police, and propaganda the undisturbed enjoyment of your time by yourself and those you love by whatever direction and intent is unique to you, then you are a slave.
