So, I can't tell if I am crazy or not. So I applied for this job and it was posted online in the newspaper but then you had to go to the companies website and apply there. It said that the job was from $13-$15 an hour based on experience Okay, fine, so I go to the interview and one of the managers are interviewing me and it's going pretty well I think and they ask me how much I am asking for . I tell them that I want $15 an hour because I am a good worker and I have all this experience, yada yada yada…. And the hiring manager looks a little taken aback and she goes “We don't start at $15/hour. We never did. Recently I've gotten a fully remote job. My main reason for taking this job is being able to fuck around on discord/google/reddit while I'm working and truthfully if I get fired for it I won't be too sad since it's the only thing that makes the job worthwhile for me. Everything? 3) If the above two are a no go, is there any way an employer might see that I'm on a separate laptop if I've got…
I worked at a supermarket and it was awful! For 7 1/2 hours of my day, I would stand outside cleaning trolleys while having to deal with angry customers due to covid restrictions. I had just turned 17 at the time I started and honestly, I didn't get paid enough for that shit! I was threatened multiple times by guys about twice my size just for doing my job. It was them who realised the mistake and they were essentially laughing over it when they told me. That said, I still didn't want to get a negative reference for my new job so I text my manager “Got to run, I just shat myself.” He said, “no worries” and I…
