Context: I am in a fully remote, online job/aprenticeship (that is run by the US Dept Of Labor) in the USA where I have two, possibly three bosses. The 2nd boss D is a part-time contractor consultant. He has interrogated me sometimes daily on my age. He has also occasionally interrogated me on my marital status, number of kids, political beliefs and religion. D has also sexually harassed me. He has berated me and blasted me on a daily basis, and has accused me once of having a serious mental illness. He informed me and a coworker that he would be making recommendations to our boss on whom he should fire. However he later denied this when I asked him about this further. But I know and I remember very clearly what I did hear. D is heavily financially incentivized to fire me. He advises the owner on payroll and…

Where are these magical jobs?
I've been trying to find work since Jan 2020. My BA doesn't matter. My furthered education certificates have made zero difference. The only offer i've been giving is min wage for 15 hours a week. They wonder how everyone can afford to quit… well when they have been forcing you to live off peanuts, you have found a way to survive off nothing.
I feel like I am running out of options here. It's bad enough that I got yelled at all day, getting hit and fearing for my safety pushed me over the edge. I feel too traumatized to date or have sex ever.
Just remember
Some of the companies that tell you better wages aren’t in their budgets are the same ones you may see during the super bowl commercials which cost MILLIONS to even air.
A popular franchise that promises something like “weirdly quick delivery” in my town currently has one person running it. I wouldn’t usually care (or know that) but I had a birthday recently so I got an email for a weirdly fast sandwich to be delivered for free! Awesome, right? The second my order was sent in, I was called and I was told, by the most exhausted sounding young man I can imagine, “I’m the only one here, we don’t have any other drivers”. I said well it sounds like you don’t have ANY drivers, much less workers? And he apologized and the conversation was over. I could tell he felt terrible about the fault of the company. I called him back and said I was so sorry for calling again, but I was considering applying, so could he tell me the wage? He said they start at $10 per…
I have PTSD that's triggered by people raising their voice or aggressively yelling at me. My boss did both of those things to me on Friday, and so I plan to let him know on Monday that Friday was my last day (I'm not going to explain the whole situation. Just know that it was definitely uncalled for.). They can fire me with little to no notice, so I don't see just quitting with no notice as being “unprofessional”. I'm fortunate enough to be in a situation where I can just leave my job and I'll be alright for a little bit while I look for another job. So I guess this is just me tipping my hat to those of you out here who can't just leave their jobs. We all deserve so much better and we shouldn't have to be treated like we're beneath the ultra wealthy.
