Homelessness is on the rise, if the housing and rental market stay at this rate with no change then it'll only get worse from here. What are some thoughts on what the ppl or the gov can do to drive the prices down?

New Job & PTO
I have a week long vacation coming up in May (already approved PTO at my current job) and am working with recruiters looking for a new job. Should I let them (recruiter, or potential new employer) know it would be best for me to start after my vacation, or do you think it would be ok to have a week off at a new job?
What is this cringy shit?
https://imgur.com/a/aUYYoGJ Don't know if this belongs here but I received this weird ass survey after getting off a customer service call with a company. What does this mean? Is it code for how well they did on the call like stars or something? Do they get a monetary bonus equal to coffee/ lunch/product or actual coffee? Is product supposedly better than lunch? I mean, supposed they sold bagged up dog shit? Is this CSR supposed to eat 10 lunches or 20 coffees a day? They guy was great and I basically typed that in freehand but wtf is that all about? I have never seen that before.
A short list of what too look for… Pretty handy. Read full text here: https://www.huffpost.com/entry/toxic-job-signs-during-interview_l_61fd53bbe4b0b69cfe8e7c48
There's no delusion or confusion or misunderstanding anywhere. They know they need to raise wages immediatly. It's simple: the people making those decisions don't have to worry if their company fails. We're in a highly monopolized economy so there's little threat of competition. Even if these companies do collapse they will take their severance pay and just go elsewhere. That's it. That's all there is to it. WE are not real people to them. We're office equipment. Period.

Title says it all. Started with company almost three months ago. They said they were hybrid during the interview with one week on and one week off. Day one at the job they say remote is after probation. um ok. The job itself is a breeze and the actual office is stupid close to my house so im happy about that and the pay is acceptable. But that remote bait and switch leaves me with a bad feeling. On the other hand I got an offer from the state job I interviewed for MONTHS ago and though financially its basically the same(negotiation with a state position is like talking to a brick wall). My state has a regular remote schedule. THAT office is 40 mins away. Part of me wants to leave out of spite just for lying but Im kinda lost here.
Minimum wage is not the answer
Minimum wage is a wrong goal for people that wanna target the current work system. Wait. Sit tight and here me out on this. THE FAILURE OF TRICKLE DOWN ECONOMY The main problem in US economic system and in a lesser extent in all the other capitalist economies is a very uneven distribution of wealth. In the same production chain you can have a CEO amassing more money than some actual nations on Earth, more money than how 100 generations of people could actually spend in their entire lifetime, and workers at the bottom who struggle to survive. Why is that so? How can it be possible for a successful and productive business capable of generating so much money to leave their workers at the base in worse conditions as days go by? We can ironically point the finger at the failure of the trickle-down-economy philosophy, but the reality is…
