Advice on how to handle situation
So my situation is I'm a level 2 casual trying to get a level 3 contract full time (already working full time hours). In order to do so my direct manager and floor manager need to sign me off on training. I have done all my training and have been doing the amount of work for 4 people. There is just one single thing that I wanted to be reminded about before saying I was fully competent in it. I've been asking my direct manager and my boss all year to do my training so I can be signed off and done, however my manager is refusing to sign off. My job is a pretty sweet work from home gig and I am not looking to just quit it if I can come up with a good excuse to get out of this. Basically the manager (because we work from home now and they no longer have the power of the office) will do random facetime video calls throughout the week to verify we are by our work computer and working on things. To be completely honest, sometimes things do slow down, so I will go out to run that 15 min errand, or take a little longer lunch. I get all my work done but if you had to put a gun to my head, sure, I probably don't work every single minute the company thinks I am.
