This question pisses me off so much because the ONLY reason they ask it is so that you tell the minimum amount you want to work for, and they will then offer even less Especially when they ask it even before the interview! Like what am I supposed to tell you, I don't know anything about the job, how can I estimate?

I recently discovered this reddit after searching far and wide for info on work. My current job has threatened to fire me multiple times and micro manages me. I stood up for myself and said i don't want to be talked to like trash and got reprimanded. I just wanna find employment, preferably part time with good benefits so i am not busting my ass and wasting most my life at work vs with my family. I can't afford a college degree at the moment so my options feel really limited. I just need some guidance. I have extremely bad panic attacks so it makes it hard to find a god employer, and many get turned away when i start asking about health insurance matching 401k's, PTO etc. Is there any options for me to work a dignified job?
Need pamphlets
I'm leaving my job soon and want to leave a pamphlet on everyone's desk regarding advocating for labor in the workplace. Ideally, it'd be written in a way for people who aren't aware of labor issues or what the labor movement has given us workers. It's long overdue for subversive activities in this company that's filled with people who have been conditioned to accept more work w/o a functional raise in wages. Any thoughts or ideas?
Can I delay a job offer?
I’m pretty early in my job search and I got an offer for $50k with no benefits in a real estate office. I’ve had a few interviews with offices paying similar in an area I actually care about, some with benefits. I’m afraid to turn it down and end up with no offer from anywhere. I interviewed on Monday and he’s going to reach out at the end of the week for my decision. What are my options?
I have a friend who has been working at a local grocery store for around two years. A few days ago he was fired for “stealing a candy bar.” When it was slow he would sometimes buy a snack at his check stand to pass time. One of these times he picked up a piece of candy to scan, but was quickly made busy by a customer. He put the bar down and helped the customer. After this, he purchased and ate it. Several days later he was called into the office and they showed him video of him “stealing the candy bar” by setting it down before purchasing. They didn’t bother to look any further in the video. Then, when my friend denied this saying he obviously didn’t steal it, they pressed him saying that they would call the police if he didn’t admit it. So, he got fired…

I'm trying to swap over to another department in my company because the one I am with is with an insufferable boss and bad hours. I had an interview with department B and they seemed really interested but I was later informed by a boss of dept A that they no longer had room for me so I carried on with position A. A colleague left department B so I reached out to department B again for an opportunity and was told that they had been told by department A that I was no longer interested a few months ago. I have clarified this to be a misunderstanding with department B and that I am still interested. I have since then heard there was a new hire for department B. I did not think to reach out then but did when a former colleague of department B let me know…
