My workplace offers employees a free item when they hit 90 days ($100-$200 value) and another item when they reach 1 year ($1000-$4,000 value). Several of my coworkers were able to get their 1yr item but a few were waiting until they move (it’s heavy) to place the order. Well, now the company has put this on hold but did NOT make an announcement. So my coworkers have been denied their item when they went to place the order with the area manager.
We understand that times are tough right now. But can they just do that? It was outlined in our benefits when we get hired. There hasn’t been an update to the benefits since January 2022 and even then, this program was still included.
I don’t want to go into too much detail about what the items are because my employer is active on Reddit and I don’t want to lose my job if they find this post and put pieces together. But what I will say is that these items rethinks that are used everyday and every night and can affect your health.
