BC employee laws questions

So I work at a place where some people get tips and some don't, a percentage gratuity is taken from the people who get tipped to be given to the rest of the staff who don't which was fine by me, but I just learned from my manager (a pretty cool guy imo) that he makes minimum wage like the rest of us, but the managers there get a majority of that gratuity money as compensation. So if I'm not mistaken instead of paying the managers more they just garnish tips and give them to the managers, which is pretty fucked up, but is it also illegal? Not only that but I was told that no overtime is paid at all, to any employee, and that some employees work 12 hour nights and 60 hour weeks. I had to agree to get no overtime to get the job. This also seems not legal? There are many east Indians working here and I'm wondering if they are being taken advantage of here for not knowing BC labor laws. Anyone have any insight on any laws regarding these things?
