I started a new WFH job. Today was day one, and we were using Microsoft Teams.
On Microsoft Teams we can video chat and screen mirror.
While on break the person training us forgot to turn off her screen mirroring, when I got back I seen messages of how she thinks this group she is training is a bunch of duds.
I had just found out a friend of mine died of suicide this morning (happened yesterday), and I still showed up and did my best. I was active, I answered and asked questions.
It sucks that 5 hours into my first shift and I'm already being put down. I need this job so I won't be quitting anytime soon.
Should I bring this up to her? Management? Both? Would I get fired for standing up for myself?
Why is everything so fricking toxic all the time? Why can't people just be kind?
