Being forced back into the office after 2 years of working from home.

Haven’t missed a beat in these two years and for no reason other than “wanting to get back to normal” we are being forced back into the office. Several people have asked about a hybrid schedule and were denied that too. We were told to bring in our computers, so now we won’t even have the option. It’s pretty laughable and a perfect example of a company being stuck in its old ways because “that’s how it’s always been.” I’ll be demanding a solid raise to compensate me for the money lost in gas money because I have a very long commute. Or they can let me keep working from home and I’ll be happy with my current rate, otherwise I’ll let them know I’m quitting. Fingers crossed
