Hi,
My ex coworker had to quit for couple months, in the hope she will come back. The manager told her, in front of me that she couldnt wait for her to come back but once she was gone, the next day the manager told me that they had no intention of having her back, that there was not enough work. I learned couple months ago that my coworker was paid more than me, she didnt tell me, just showed a paper by mistake that made me realize that. At the time I thought it was ok since she was doing a lot more than me. Now they expect me to do as much as her, and even more. I have no idea what to do or how to approach this. I wasnt hired for the extra stuff they are asking me to do. I would at least like to be paid the same.
I think its also important to mention that they need me, I have a skill that is hard to find, but Im terrified of having to negociate with my manager that is hyper controlling, lying to me all the time and kinda mean to be honest.
