So the top post yesterday was about how someone accepted a counter offer and got fucked over – This re-emphasized the idea that you should never accept the counter offer in my mind. But, it got me thinking how to handle a situation like this and I am curious if I’ve come up with a good solution, please let me know what you think.
Solution – Ask your turn employer for a raise, ask for either the same amount that you got an offer for or slightly higher If you’re more indifferent about leaving. If they accept to give you a raise, great! If not hand in your resignation, Are there any pitfalls to this?
