About three months ago, we had a winter storm system with freezing rain move through. Just after our morning break began, 'Jane' slipped on a patch of ice while going out for a smoke. She ended up shattering her left wrist which required surgery. 'Jane ' had seven pins put in and was off three weeks. She came back with a one pound restriction. And she was allowed to work for four hours a day.
'Jane' was excited to finally have the brace off (never had a cast) without any weight restriction. Now here is the jerk move. You would think work would give 'Jane' her time back. Nope. Did not happen. They only gave her two hours back. She now works six hours a day. She asked our plant manager about giving all her time back. He gave her a bs excuse six hours is enough time for her. She has already decide to quit by the end of May. But not for this (although she is really pissed about this). She is moving away because of family issues.
