I just started working for a multi billion dollar Australasian company in the Health industry, which due to the pandemic has seen their share price double since 2020. Today an email circulated to “Everybody” showing off the reward this “hard working” individual had earned by giving him a cake.
Seriously, after earning record breaking profits, you reward 1 staff member with a fucking cake.
I should also mention that most staff are on $2 above minimum wage.
Then they wonder why “People don't wanna work anymore” or “this generation is lazy and entitled”.
