What I remember the most from my years of employment was the intense, overwhelming desire to kill myself. Some people dream about sex, I dreamed about be dead.
I haven't had a job in close to 15 years. Rather then having a job, rather then having to pretend I give a shit about what my dumbass manager is saying, rather then having to deal with my ass-hole co-workers (here's a clue you stupid fucking dumbasses, I stopped believing in “Jesus Christ” about the same time I quite believing in Santa Clause, ya know, when I was like, 5 old!) They once asked me “how many suicidal ideations, did you have?” My reply “One, it lasted for 3 years. I went to sleep wishing I could just die. I awoke, wishing I was dead and I spent the whole day, wondering why I just couldn't be dead. Oh, by the way, Christmas and Turkey day on the V.A. psyche ward, weeeeeeell, it sucks, just sucks! You HR assholes, you stupid fucking managers, See ya, see you in hell! Yeah, we'll have an eternity in hell to discuss my “piss poor work ethic” and my “shitty negative attitude!”
