Boss bailing on meeting

My boss is going out on maternity leave soon, but as far as I'm concerned, she's already on leave. I have been working to set up an important meeting for weeks. This is a meeting that directly concerns one of HER direct reports. I finally found a day and time that works, and now she just told me she's not going to attend bc she has to run an errand. Really? I'm so over it. Also – I have to give a personal shout out to all the women workers who don't take maternity leave who seem to always get shit on. Don't get me wrong, I support motherhood and I wish to God our country was more supportive of this by providing ample PAID time off. But sometimes it seems like mothers are always the ones to have exceptions made to their PTO, and non-moms are essentially told, “well,…
