Title says it all, there's two of us currently employed and we've been rushed off our feet for months and have pleaded for another pair of hands to help take some of the load off, this has been met with being told they can't justify another body right now as the workload isn't there.
Since then he's gone ahead and bought into a new business and has also been asking me to work overtime because they're too busy to fit all the jobs into a normal working week.
Me being the fool and people pleaser that I am have agreed to do the overtime because honestly I need the money to make ends meet, I know I need to refuse this overtime so he can perhaps start to understand we need an extra person.
This is a bit of a vent more than anything else, I hate the toxicity of the working world.
