I work as an in-house carer, I arrived at my client's home today to start my shift and the previous carer just told me, oh – client- has covid, and that no one told them either, and even after the other carer told management this was bad practice management didn't warn me either!
I understand that i still need to do my job, but what if someone at my home was at high risk? Didn't i deserve to make that choice for myself? They say since people are supposed to be wearing masks anyway it doesn't make a difference, but when your job is so hands on i don't believe that is a good enough defense. What do you think?
