So I'm in my last week of a 4 week notice period I gave to my job (it was in my contract ugh). My boss has stated she basically expects me to work 40+ hours to wrap up two projects which are nowhere near completion. She has refused all along to hire any extra employees and even when I gave my notice along with another girl, she still only hired one person to replace the two of us. Anyways long story short, would it be terrible to send her an email and state that I can't complete what she is asking and my last day will be today rather than Friday? Or do I just suck it up and do what I can until Friday? I'm always the people pleaser so I'm struggling to handle this situation.
