Been working at my new job for about 2.5 months, had a few bumps along the way but nothing too serious, one verbal sit down because I got a bit of an attitude after being moved from first shift hours to 3rd shift hours. Well I had a bunch of events happening this month, was very up front about them got my boss to let me have 2 days off but they denied 1 day I would've liked off to go on a mini vacation for the first time in awhile. Well I talk to my coworkers they say it's fine the two that my call off affects say I'm good and prepare to cover for me, so I call my boss today to say I'm gonna take a point won't be in tonight cause vacation beats work, here's how it goes.
Me: hello l, I know we talked about it and you said you wanted me in but it's better for me if I leave tonight so I'm taking a point and won't be in
boss: you sick?
Me:no, I'm just saying Im not coming in
Boss:well I said I needed you in today, so go ahead and do it but when you get back it's gonna be more than a point and we will talk
me: alright talk to you next week hangs up fuck you I ain't scared of you
*Side note: didn't know when I got hired no vacation days for a year which is pretty insane, also quickly learning in the quality assurance Field most management figures are ruthless slave drivers who avoid working themselves at all costs
