Hi everyone, i'm in a bit of trouble here.
Recently, I quit my job to move somewhere else as I was passed up for a promotion.
At my old job, we work with sensitive information, so all employees were given a work laptop to use, with the condition that if/when you quit it must be given back to the company.
However, this is a really good laptop, and I was shitted off at my old boss, so I decided to keep the laptop as an act of revenge. Besides, they're rich enough that they can afford it.
But now, they're WITHHOLDING MY PAY until I give them the laptop back. Is that even legal?? What can I do to get my pay back?
