Boss just told a co-worker that it didn’t matter if he had kids at home, he has a dog at home that needs fed and he’s still working overtime

Co-worker gets his children every weekend due to court orders. He takes PTO every Friday to ensure he has the entire weekend off. This morning our boss told him he needed to come in Saturday and my co-worker said he cant due to childcare. My boss then proceeds to tell him he has a dog at home and he still comes in. Boss then also Googles laws on leaving children at home alone and points out that the state we live in has no laws regarding leaving 10 year old children home alone.
