So my company has a policy where they'll pay casual workers if they have covid. So I got that posite RAT test last week and reported it and did all the right things. I was meant to to in Sunday and Monday after my mandatory iso period was over but was still quite unwell.
Fast forward to today and I submit my hours and my boss informs me that I won't be paid for one shift as my iso period ended at midnight the previous night even though they had covered my shift and I couldn't go in anyway and I won't be paid for Sunday or Monday as it wasn't mandatory for me to stay home.
Screw it next time I'm going in sick as a dog if they won't pay me.
