Brainstorming antiwork

@ mods I've gone through the rulebar and I hope I'm not breaking any with this post. I've come across quite a few posts where the comments are jokingly saying to spam a certain interview with applications etc, kind of a social DDOS of the terrible employers out there. Wondering about the legality of doing something like that as this group is at 1.9 million users now: That's a force for change. I've come across quite a few posts where the comments are jokingly saying to spam a certain interview with applications etc, kind of a social DDOS of the terrible employers out there. Wondering about the legality of doing something like that as this group is at 1.9 million users now: That's a force for change.

The main reason I am saying this is that the antiwork movement (and subreddit) is a global one, not just an American one. The problems it highlights are shared by people around the world (including myself). Recently I'm starting to get the sense that the subreddit is turning into a career version of /r/justiceporn or a place where we all vent. I think that has the potential to turn us into slacktivists and we would be missing out on making some interesting noise with a more or less united voice, speaking out against the abuse of labor and the late stage capitalism that has come to dominate the world we live in.

Curious to hear your thoughts.
