Bus driver charged for accidental tickets – No money taken

Hi, I originally posted to r/legaladviceuk but no one replied. I want to help the driver and anyone else getting screwed by the company. Please let me know anything I should know. I'm emailing them and the council. Hello, I work for an NHS hospital and live near the park and ride which is free for nhs staff (very handy). Every day i show my work ID and I'm given a ticket which says “NHS £0.00”. Last week when I, my colleague and a member from a different department got on he recognised us and had 3 tickets waiting. We all took one but luckily before I sat down I noticed it said “Single – £1.55”. I queried this and the driver said the computer had been doing that all day. He said couldnt take undo them all on the screen only the most recent one. He tried to then get the right tickets but it just kept printing ones for £1.55. After trying several times he told us we could just sit down as it was free for us anyway. I didn't think anymore of it but a few days later when I saw that bus driver again he said the company had charged him £6.10 for it, he told them they could check CCTV and see that no money was taken but they wouldn't listen. I feel that this is a horrible way to treat employees and I want to complain to the company and the council (as they must have given them some contract to operate the park and ride), because this isn't just about £6 but likely many more instances and an unfair working condition the employees are placed in causing them stress. But I wanted to get some advice first so i could make a strong statement, and i want to make clear that he has not asked me to do this. I'm sure that there is a burden of proof on them and given cctv is available, and as it may be a fault of the computer system they are breaking the law. I want to make clear to them they are risking legal action against themselves by doing this to their employees. I'm considering posting this story to r/AntiWork or r/workreform as well. Thank you for any advice
