Businesses treating their workers like they are disposable is sickening.

I think I speak for all of us when I say this. Doesn’t matter if its a big corp, a small business, etc. They treat EVERYONE like they’re f*cking disposable. Except if you have a bachelor’s, or master’s. Apparently only people who have 16+ years of education are allowed to thrive in the workplace. Or so that’s how it seems. You have a HS diploma? Cool. You get to work a minimum wage sh*t job until you are in college! Even then, good luck finding a good paying job that isn’t either prejudice as hell, or that won’t treat you like an animal, and pays you a livable wage! Everywhere is complaining about a lack of staffing. It’s sad because people were making a more livable wage off unemployment, than they were just working. Everywhere is complaining about a lack of staffing. It’s sad because people were making a more livable wage off unemployment, than they were just working. Unless they worked a salaried job, or something that paid $17+/hr. And even then, that’s barely livable. Companies are paying just a penny over minimum wage in some places. Some don’t even offer benefits. On top of that, a lot of companies treat their workers horrifically. Yet they expect to have a million applicants lined up.

We are all humans. We all have our own skill sets, our educational advances. Everyone deserves a chance to at least get an interview to show off these skills. Yet companies see people without a high form of education as “unreliable” and “disposable”. Therefore ending up treating them god awful, and having high turnover. Humans are not disposable. Workers are not disposable. We all have a right to fair pay, and fair environment. End of story/rant.
