Hi! I work at a smoothie place. Great food, great coworkers no complaints in those respects. However, I do get paid 13$ flat (less than minimum wage) since they worked this stupid loophole where I count as a waitress -even though I regularly prep food- and get ‘tipped’. (No one tips they are paying 15$ for an açaí bowl). I get one free meal on shift the rest are 50% on shift. Another however, There is no mention of breaks, we aren’t allowed to use our phone except to text our boss (im in highschool i need to text my ride.). I just overall get paid shit and it’s not worth it now with cameras. I will be on edge my whole shift.
