I’ve had multiple problems with HR and have gotten sent home twice now.
The first issue I was complaining about was lack of equal pay. We were short staffed for like a year and they hired the new girl at $13/hr when she should’ve been getting $16 minimum. So they already hate me for rocking the boat and talking about pay.
Then I got reported by the same coworker twice for making small comments about not being happy. And me and this coworker have joked and complained together like everyday before, so idk why these instances offended her. The first time I just sighed and said “I don’t want to be here” and got sent home…then yesterday I said the customer service here is ridiculous and I’m gonna start agreeing and empathizing with customers because our company only cares about money. Got a call from HR saying they heard I was “saying negative things about the company to customers” and I’m like that’s a straight up lie…and explained what happened.
Bottom line is, they fucking hate me. It feels illegal, but there’s no evidence to prove anything. Anyway, HR said they don’t want me working in that section anymore and this is my final warning. I have to talk to my manager tomorrow to see what she wants me to do.
I want to quit so badly, but I was planning on staying until the beginning of May because I start grad school in June. I just need the health insurance.
Should I just go back in and pretend I feel bad? I don’t know what to do.
