Im in BC, Canada, and my job is causing me severe anxiety and depressive episodes. My vacation time is paid out to me each check so I don't accrue vacation hours. I cant afford to take upaid time off…I had a therapist but she worked for a free service so Im currently not seeing her as she works with other folks (ill see her again in a month or two i think)
Is there any way for me to apply for PTO for mental health reasons? I have a family doctor that has helped me with mental health issues in the past. Just not sure the process and don't want to book a dr appointment and gt everything started if it turns out it isnt possible for me 🙁
