I'll try to make this quick, I'm currently short 11 hours of PTO after recently checking.
I came into work sick one day a few weeks ago, and I asked to leave early because I was visibly sick. They let me leave. Fine noproblem I'll just take the less hours this week.
The next day I came in still sick and the manager told me I had to leave cause I wasn't looking good. I told him that I don't want to use PTO time for this because I'm planning a trip. He said don't worry about go home and feel better.
This mother fucker used my PTO hours for both days leaving early.
Can I do ANYTHING?
Not in a union. Fortune 500 company.
Please don't tell me go see HR… they are all on the same team.
