and by quitting I mean put in my three weeks notice. I work at a part time job two days out of the week. my general manager isn't there during those two days, only the assistant manager. I won't be in until Thursday so I want to text him now and have my last day be three weeks from today, instead of waiting until Thursday comes to tell my assistant manager in person and have my last day be further out. would that be okay? I know its not ideal but I really just want to be gone asap while also respecting the three week notice. (I know two is standard but our boss asks for three and I would like to respect that).
also how would that text go? im not sure what to say other than im putting in my three weeks. any advice is appreciated!
