So I work for a security company in KY, USA and the work environment here has become very hostile and I'm looking for other jobs. Company policy states that in order to maintain my current hourly wage I have to give a 30 day notice, and that if I give a two week notice they will dock my pay to minimum wage. This makes it difficult to get other jobs because I can't seem to balance my cards right to where I can start with a job and maintain my current expenses.
Can they legally do that?
