Im autistic and wanted to use my ADA accomodations to switch the time of my shift. I start working at 11:00-7:30pm generally. I wanted an earlier time starting at 8 or 9 while still maintaining an 8hr shift.
After bringing this up to my manager she told me that can happen but they will have a harder time scheduling me. Isnt that violating the accommodation?????? I thought that upon receiving accomodations work hours requested are protected. Im so confused. How do I respond to her?
