Can you put your previous wages on your CV/résumé?

And would you? Asking for the UK but happy to edit this post with answers for anywhere else. I figure if we expect job postings to tell us the salary they're offering, why wouldn't we put the salary we're expecting? It would show a clear progression in our salary increases over time and communicate that we consider it part of the job, not a bonus of it. Personally I'd adjust for inflation, but otherwise I'd be honest about it; it's an opportunity to show what it looks like to have a bit of integrity, rather than dangling a carrot for the old bait-and-switch like we've heard about on this very sub.
