So I often hear the phrase “without capitalism there would be no incentive for innovation.” I completely disagree with this considering most inventions and modern medicine were created via universities with taxpayer dollars, and then sold to capitalists. There have been leaked memos from big pharma's board that cures wouldn't give them revenue. I would bet we would have better alternative energy and able to get away from gas if capitalists didn't control the government. So really, I believe capitalism prohibits innovation and kills more people than any other economic system in history.
